How To Clean Titleist Hat

I just know that if i put in washer or dishwasher they come clean but never fit right again. The method i have the best luck with is to spray them with some sort of spot cleaner shout spray and wash etc and let them sit for about an hour. Mine look like new especially the mesh. You can let it soak in the water if it is really dirty if not just run some cool water over the hat and use the brush to scrub the dirty areas. I let my hats stay in the full wash and dry cycles and take them out and put them on a towel and let them dry for a couple of days.

Any ideas or tricks out there that anyone could share. I have tried several types of material of hats to try and save them. Put on the top rack spray the stains with shout and brush it in. Let the hat soak for about an hour or so. Drop in about a third of a cup of laundry detergent.

When its dry and clean then spray your hat with something like a water repellant silicone spray camp dry spray or scotch guard etc and it helps repel the sweat stains afterwards. Suggest to put the hat inot a bucket with vanish and water leav it in for 20 minutes and then rinse it off.

Rinse with clean water and then take it outside and set it on something out in the sun this helps to whiten it also.
